What Can You Do?

Very often, when we are faced with the monstrosity of an evil we become overwhelmed by it.   It seems to great, and we seem so insignificant.  We cannot help wondering, what can I do?

This question can be asked two ways.  One, it can already decide that there is nothing you can do.  Realistically we look at the problem and decide there is nothing one person can do about it.  What can one person do against a throng made of thousands people, supported by legal laws and upheld by unimaginable profit?  The other way you can ask yourself is with a mind that does not ask for a revolution, but many tiny victories.  Nothing monumental was ever done alone, but a army of committed individuals, each taking a stand.  Defeat is a mindset, and it is the first obstacle that is overcome.

Harriet Beecher Stowe said, "But what can an individual do?  Of that, every individual can judge."  This is being said by the women who was said to have caused the American Civil War.  What can you do?  You can use your voice in your realm of influence.  You can work in the community you are in.  You can judge as a person, and then lead by example.  Once you realize that you are capable of action, then exactly what is to be done becomes evident before long.  You never know, one voice might just make the difference in one life.  And one changed life is a changed world.

"Often a small ignored spark has started a fire." ~Q. Curtius Rufus

"Your just a fool to think you can change the world, don't listen to them when they say it.....The smallest thing can make all the difference.  Love is alive.  Don't listen when they say it." Carrie Underwood "Change"

The Abortion Of Two

One day the Daughters of St. Paul received a letter.  It was addressed to their monthly magazine The Family.  It was written by a anonymous writer, but the story is touching.  This man, who called himself "sinner," confessed his story.  When he was a young husband, he and his wife made a decision to abort their child.  Little did he know that his wife was not bearing one child, but two.  This man now remorses this decision.  He penned his feelings in a poem.

The Abortion of Two

Little eyes that will never see,
A tiny mouth that won't smile at me,
Little fingers cold in death,
The memory haunts me yet.

Not one, but two little lives were lost,
Abortion the cause, heartache the cost,
Oh, so foolish a thing to do,
And conscience that always cries to you.

"Why had we no chance?"they seem to say,
"Did you think perhaps we'd be in your way?
We longed to be part of your daily life,
To bring such joy to you and your wife."

But alas, 'tis now to late, the deed is done,
And my poor heart breaks,
And my twin sin will never be;
Their only chance taken away from me.

Oh, what a price I'm doomed to pay,
For two precious lives I took away!
Can a loving God forgive this deed?
Is there any ground upon which to plead?

I ponder my fate as the years go by,
Every time I hear a baby cry,
I bow my head in sorrow and shame,
And pray that you never know my name.

The two little lives I so easily snuffed out,
Could have bringtened my life, there is no doubt,
So think, my friends, of this sad mistake,
Lest you follow the road of eternal heartache.

"First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out and I wasn't a trade unionists.
Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me."

Abortion's "Choice"

The whole abortion industry is based on this idea of "choice."  But where is this choice?  How is it played out?

Is the choice with the pregnant girls?  Apparently abortion exists so the prenant women can have a choice.  But what does every girl say after the abortion?  "I felt like I didn't have a choice."  So, where did this girl's choice go?  If she felt like she didn't have a choice then who else does?

Parents have no choice.  They can see their daughter abort their child and nobody cares what they think.  And, of course, the child has no say.  So where is the choice?  The women has no choice, the parents have no choice and the child has no choice.  Here is a industry that boats of a choice that doesn't exist.  It is a mystical choice that people try to grasp at, but never can grasp.  Abortion doesn't give "choice," all it gives is a ghost that will haunt you for eternity.

http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/meet-the-man-who-has-saved-1000-babies-from-abortion-in-just-3-years-video

Here is a link to a movie that describes the miraculous story of a man that has saved 1,000 babies from death. John Barros has visited the Orlando Women's Clinic, which is estimated that 400 babies are killed there every month, for three years.  Relentlessly, day after day, John visits this clinic to pray and plead with women scheduled for abortions. Despite cancer surgeries, two brain aneurisms and two back surgeries John visits the Women's Clinic six days a week.  "Every story is different, but the answer is all the same. The answer is all found in Jesus Christ. And that is why we're here." John describes.  In the video John's tells the story of his life.  His life is one that is completely committed to saving the unborn, one life at a time.
